After 15 years of taking spinning/cycling classes I decided to combine my twin passions of bicycling and music and became a certified cycling instructor in 2007

Personal: Moved to Vermont in 2004 in pursuit of abundant snow and quiet back roads. Married my next-door neighbor, Angel, in 2009 on a mountain-top meadow at Sleepy Hollow Ski and Bike in Huntington. We made our entrance on an old Schwinn tandem bicycle that we now ride to the Farmer's Market on most Saturdays.

I've been an active outdoor cyclists for over thirty years with a special interest in bicycle touring. It's the perfect way to travel and I've been fortunate to explore a lot of this country including a 12-week, 5000 mile solo ride across the United States in 2000. I generally get in a few tours each summer. Angel and I are headed to northern California this fall to tour Sonoma County. I'm also training for the 115 miles Harpoon Point-to-Point ride in August which is a fund raiser for the Vermont FoodBank. During the winter months I trade my touring bike for cross-country skis. I enjoy both skate and classic styles and have competed in numerous marathon races in 9 countries over the years. My plans for 2011 include a 50K race in the Czech Republic.

After 15 years of taking spinning/cycling classes I decided to combine my twin passions of bicycling and music and became a certified cycling instructor in 2007. Addition continuing education courses and training led to a Level 3 certification in 2010. As for the music, I am a un-certified music geek with upwards of 2000 cds/lps in my ever-growing collection. I'm also a fan of live music and attend anywhere from 20-30 shows a year.

This love of music and cycling allows me to combine these passions into playlists and profiles that I hope will be both challenging and fun for anyone taking my classes

Here is a sample playlist from a recent class:
